How much does a Bengal kitten cost?
In the Bengal breed, prices can vary depending on pedigree, quality, and appearance. Kittens are often grouped into three categories:
- Pet Quality – Wonderful family companions who are healthy, beautiful, and full of personality. Prices usually range $1,800–$3,000.
- Show Quality – Bengals that meet or exceed breed standards in every way. Prices typically start at $3,000 and up.
- Breeder Quality – Carefully selected kittens with strong traits and breeding rights. These range from $4,000–$6,000+.
How We Price Our Kittens
At Heaven Bound Bengals, each kitten is evaluated individually. All kittens remain under breeder evaluation until around 6–8 weeks of age. Factors such as pattern clarity, color rarity, type, and overall quality all play a role in determining price. Because no two kittens are alike, prices may vary from litter to litter and even within the same litter.
This approach ensures that families pay a fair price based on the unique traits of the kitten they choose, while still knowing every kitten has received the same dedicated care, health testing, and socialization that set our cattery apart.
Reserving a Kitten
For families who are ready to commit, we require a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve a spot on our waiting list. This deposit guarantees your place in line to choose your kitten when it’s your turn. Before placing a deposit, we encourage you to do your research and compare—so that when you choose a Heaven Bound Bengal, you’ll feel confident you’ve chosen the right cattery.
When placing your deposit, you’ll need to select a gender preference, as our waiting lists are divided by male and female. Don’t worry—your spot only moves up the list as kittens are placed, and you are welcome to pass on as many kittens as you’d like until the perfect one for your family arrives.
The payment schedule is as follows:
- $500 deposit to join the waiting list (this will go toward your balance)
- Final balance due at pickup
This process ensures fairness and peace of mind while you wait for your dream Bengal kitten.
How do I pick out my Kitten?
We encourage families to come and meet the kittens in person whenever possible. However, we also understand that not everyone can travel to us. For that reason, we offer three options for Kitten Selection:
- In-person visit – Come spend time with the kittens during your scheduled one-hour slot.
- Live Zoom call – Meet the kittens virtually and ask questions in real time.
- Photos & updates – Review pictures and details to help make your choice.
Whichever method you choose, we ask that you make your selection during your scheduled time slot, as the next family on the list will be choosing right after you.
Travel & Delivery
At Heaven Bound Bengals, the safety and well-being of our kittens always come first. For that reason, we do not ship kittens. The airline industry has become unpredictable in recent years, and we could never risk a kitten being stranded or mishandled as cargo. If a kitten travels by air, it must always be in cabin with a person to ensure proper care and comfort.
Pickup & Airport Meetups
We encourage families to pick up their kitten directly from us when possible. However, we understand travel isn’t always easy. To help, we’re happy to meet families at the airport. Many new owners choose to fly in, meet us inside the terminal, and then return home on the next flight with their kitten safely by their side.
Personal Delivery
For families who cannot travel, we do offer personal delivery for an additional fee. Delivery arrangements must be discussed and approved in advance to ensure a safe and stress-free trip for your kitten. We never ship in cargo.
