Our program is designed not only to maintain genetic diversity and strong bloodlines, but also to ensure that every Bengal kitten has an outstanding temperament. We are firm believers that health alone isn’t enough—a Bengal should also have confidence, social ease, and a personality that makes them a joy in their forever home. Every kitten we place is raised with love and attention so they grow into well-mannered, affectionate companions.
Two-Year Health Guarantee
Because of the care we put into our breeding program, we proudly provide a two-year health guarantee with every kitten. This reflects our commitment to doing everything possible to produce healthy Bengals. Our Kitten Contract explains the details so families can adopt with confidence.
Health Testing Beyond the Basics
We don’t stop at simple genetic tests. At Heaven Bound Bengals, our health program includes:
- Full DNA test including PK Def, PRAb, and HCM
- Regular heart (HCM) screening
- Ongoing lifetime monitoring of our breeding cats
Unlike breeders who retire cats early and stop testing at age four, we continue health tracking beyond age five. This provides families with a clearer picture of the long-term health of their kitten’s lineage.
Socialization & Exceptional Behavior
Bengal kittens thrive when raised in an enriched, loving environment. We are very intentional in how we raise and prepare our kittens for family life. From an early age, they are gently desensitized to household sounds, visitors, and our two small dogs. This ensures they leave our home confident, adaptable, and ready for the real world. Our goal is that every kitten has not only the beauty and health of a top-quality Bengal, but also the exceptional behavior that makes them easy to love and live with.
Visiting Our Cattery
We welcome families to get to know us and our Bengals. While we must be mindful of protecting our kittens from outside illness, we do allow scheduled visits for families on our waiting list. For those who can’t travel, we offer video calls so you can see your kitten’s environment and meet us face to face.
Choosing the Right Breeder
We encourage families to carefully evaluate breeders before committing. Some red flags include:
- No video calls or proof of kittens
- Extremely low “bargain” prices (a $300 Bengal is almost always a scam)
- New or fake accounts leaving reviews
